Appendix 11

Conclusions -

Social evolution and Social creativity

(Society as living and rational system)

1

The information is a fundamental property (attribute) of the matter, equivalent to universally accepted three attributes: motion, space and time.

2

Materiality and ideality or being and consciousness are two sides of one entity – the matter, represented by its four attributes (space & time; motion & information).

3

Evolution of the Universe, Life and Society in essence is evolution of information, which passes through four phases – structural pattern (physical & chemical), gene (self-replicating information), psyche (animal kingdom) and knowledge (conscious information). Information as a structural pattern in micro- and macro-cosmos is prototype of ideality, which as a result of evolution develop and transit from structural pattern into gene (self-replicated pattern), from gene to psyche (self-replicated experience) and finally to knowledge (self-replicated conscious).

4 In modern terms the Universe is like quantum computer,  where matter is a "hardware" and information - "software". The Universe could organise itself to level of creating life (self-replicating genes) and reason (self-replicating knowledge). Theoretically higher level of organisation is possible although we could have very rough  idea regarding such higher level. Perhaps this is unity of linear and parallel processing and "holographic" cognitive functions. At this level of organisation the past, present and future will manifestating themselves as continuum. The reality on a living planet is like a giant hologram, where everything is interconnected. In this hologram ideality is accepted as God, and described accordingly. In fact this is level of evolving consciousness - individual and social. The idea of God represent part of reality in hologram. The rest of the hologram is the matter or the "hardware" of the quantum computer. Both parts are "visible" around 5%. The rest is "invisible" or at least unexplored reality.

 5

The consciousness is a social and more precisely - cultural phenomenon. The being determinate the consciousness in same degree, in which the consciousness changes the being. Materiality is not primary in regards the ideality, because the ideality is immanent to the matter.

 6

Knowledge - generation, preservation and transmission is the base of social evolution. Knowledge is consciousness information. Hence it is an analogue, but not identical with processes connected with genetic information. Biological evolution has zero intelligence. It works according to the principle “trials and errors”, which confirms mutations, supporting the adaptations of species to the environment. The social evolution is an intelligent process. It is result and equivalent to the emerging mind, which is oriented to overcome environment, micro- and macro-cosmos: Universe, life, society, and thinking.

 7

The social evolution is a process for generation and verification of knowledge; process for transforming of  “belief systems” into verified by the practice knowledge. The believe system can be define in general as a culture, and the system of positive knowledge as a civilization. According to the level of achieved knowledge, the mankind passes throughout three basic phases that can be defined  as civilizations: period of empirical knowledge, period of technological knowledge and a period of humanitarian knowledge. Respectively the civilizations could be defined as empirical, technological and humanitarian. Now society is in transition from technological to humanitarian civilization.

 8

The consciousness or free will can change only phenomenology or tings that are on the surface of the content. Those are quantitative changes. A long sequence of insignificant small advances or quantitative changes in the society lead to inevitable qualitative leap. Consequently man can create changes in the content of the society, but cannot determinate its form. The form of society is a result of objective laws. This point explain why utopias are unrealisable in principle; why well known and influential thesis of Marx "The philosophers have only interpreted the world differently; the point is, to change it”, didn’t turn out when Russians experimented with “world revolution”, and why no one of theories for future make-up of the society, as “New World Order” (Corporate Globalism) or attempts to establish theocratic Islamic state (Caliphate), have not any chance for implementation. Therefore the philosophers could interpret the world, but can’t change it.

9

The laws of social evolution, same as biological laws are objective and humanity must study it and take it into account, instead to tray to change it. Society is a living organism, open self-regulating and rational system and every attempt to elaborate and apply models “from outside – inside” is doomed. All proposed models so far “closed” the system and are rejected by social organism as a foreign body. Because of this reason humanity could self-distract itself, but could not change objective course of social evolution.

10

Modern society is in state of transition from dominance of biological reproduction to intellectual reproduction. In other words factor for surviving of humanity is not biological reproduction, but spiritual (in sense of cultural) reproduction. The last one is a unity of knowledge, intellect and moral. This transition create existing demographic crisis and in same time offer mechanism for natural solution. With time the planet’s population will reach and stabilise to its own optimum and will reproduce itself by quality rather than quantity.

11

The fundamentalism is a result of decline in ideologies (religion or politics). It expresses itself in deepening contradiction between form and content. The solution of emerging contradiction leads to transition to new and higher form of development.

12

Current democracy is such only by form, as content it is already a corporatocracy. Because of this reason existing “demo-corporatocracy” is form of political fundamentalism and is doomed. The current democracy is in process of transition to new, more adequate to the existing content form - netocracy. Netocracy is self-governing society from “inside-outside”.

13

With increase of the volume of knowledge, increase also vulnerability of society, because every significant scientific achievement could be used as a weapon for mass distraction easier rather than as constructive factor. This is the basic contradiction of modern world.

14

To resolve the basic contradiction means to reorganise society as a principles, structure and functions, which means transition from democracy to netocracy or transition from technological to humanitarian civilization.

15

Emerging of global self-conscious is a most important change for last few decades. The global self-consciousness is a big hope of humanity regarding resolving of all existing and potential problems. The development of self-consciousness is only way for survival of the mankind.

16

For good or bad, the humanity is blind regarding its future. At the present it has 50/50 chance for surviving. On the one hand, if we accept emerging global self-consciousness, as criteria for age as an analogue with individual development, humanity is on threshold of its mature development. On the other hand, the existing level of social self-consciousness is still not mature to guarantee surviving of humanity.

17

The processes and problems in the modern world are interconnected. Firstly, inevitable transition of hierarchical structure of society to heterarchical structure. Heterarchical structure doesn’t mean economical equality, but social organization for making adequate global decisions. Secondly, the social specialization of individuals will strengthen and economical inequality will be replaced with “differentiation”, reflecting different degree of possibilities and preparation for participation in the decision-making process and implementations. Thirdly, the social organism will resemble more and more the species Homo sapience as an individual – highly specialised (or differentiated) brain’s and body’s cells, grouped in self-replicated organs and systems.

18

The structure of the social system determinate its development. Hierarchical structure determinate faster grows up of economic. Heterarchical structure determinate sustainable development.

19

Netocracy is a new form for social organisation and ruling, where social contradictions are identified and resolved by global self-consciousness. It is based on six basic principles:  self-selection, heterarchy, functional dynamics, transparency, social integrity and separation of decision-making process and implementation of decisions.

20

In planetary scale the human is “crown of evolution”. In the scale of the Universe however humanity is in the middle of the road, something very modest and insignificant. Humanity could evolve in foreseeable future to the “diamond” in the crown, or could perish, distracting itself, because of lack or moral. This is question of choice and wisdom.
